Springbok Privacy Policy
Springbok stores your workout timers on your iPhone. This policy explains what stays on the device, what the widget extension can read, and what we do not collect.
Last updated October 11, 2026
1. What Springbok stores locally
Your timers, including names, work sets, rest sets, and rest rules, are saved on your iPhone using SwiftData. Cloud sync is turned off.
Active session. While a timer is running, the app and its widget extension share a small snapshot of the session through an App Group container on the device. That snapshot includes the workout name, current step, remaining time, and playback state so Live Activities and the home screen widget can stay accurate. It is not sent to our servers.
Last played. Springbok remembers the last timer you opened so you can replay it from the home screen. That identifier is stored locally in the same App Group.
2. Information we do not collect
Springbok does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number through the app.
No server upload. Your timers and session data are not transmitted to Terrace or any third-party service.
No analytics or ads. The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
Sound and haptics. Step transitions can play a bundled chime and trigger haptics on the device. No audio is recorded or uploaded.
3. If you email us
If you contact support, we receive only what you include in your message, such as your email address and a description of the issue.
4. Purchases
If Springbok offers paid features in the future, Apple will process payment through the App Store. We will not receive your card number or billing address.
5. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Keeping timer data on your device remains the default.
